From Sunday 15 till Thursday 19 April 2007 the Archiprix International workshops will take place in the Tongji University. The tasks focus at the redevelopment of the Dongjiadu area, on the shore of the Hungpu river. A ferry station for the connection with the Pudong area on the other side of the river is one of the tasks. The development of a cultural facility in the area is another. The site is located between the Bund and the Expo 2010. Dongjiadu church, founded by the Italian, and some old settlements are close to the site.
