MARCHI proposes the generation of a new international business district to the west of the Moskva River, between the 1905 Goda Sq. to the north and the Krasnopresnenskaya Quay to the south, along 1905 Goda St. and Trehgornii Val St. The project is based on the idea of maximum integration of the new administrative/business complexes into the architectural structure of the city centre by means of the reconstruction and compression of the run-down blocks on the former industrial zones. The creation of a large-scale international financial/administrative district on the 1905 Goda St. should ensure: an active and positive influence on the intensification of Russian business development; the introduction of the latest technical teaching systems, modern electronic means of communication; the renovation of the run-down areas; the creation of new working places; the creation of active social life in the district; the growth of urban density, with a modern level of service; transport accessibility to all elements of the complex; a well-developed pedestrian network; an increase in the number of green areas.
