In Baden, on a site which accommodates different special buildings (like a Mill), a new building has been designed with four loft apartments and a wine cellar and wine tasting room. The existing buildings speak another architectonic language than the rest of Baden. The aim is to fit in a solitaire and strong building within this difficult situation, that supports the existing structure. The four lofts are placed on the two upper floors, enclosed by bridges, which is possible because of the steep slope of the site. The wine cellar is on street level, its backside cut out in the slope.
