Near the old city center of Kaunas, Lithuania, a science and technology center has been designed as an intermediate between old city and the green hills across the river. The aim is to create a complex urban structure to balance with the right riverside’s shortcomings. The science center is a low building, preserving the skyline of the old city and framing the view of the hills. A foot path runs along the right riverside and the science center, among other buildings, acts as a pause in this route. The inner space has been defined by the environment and the direction of the sun.View presentation
