'A model of interactive space inhabiting' is a continuation of work sent for the competition in Austria in June 2000. The subject of the competition was to work out both town-planning and architectonic concept of living department for Graz city. The proposition was supposed to be timeless, open and subject to changes.For aim of the diploma thesis the subject has been extended and widen keeping a basic idea of competition design.The conditions of the competition were main guidelines which influenced the final result of the design, they put an emphasis on two important aspects:- first of all: flexibility,- secondly: providing social service, i.e. infrastructure and social service zone, and possibility of work near home.The equivalent problem was to create a system of living structure with variety of solutions using simple, pragmatic, sometimes traditional means of space planning.
