Design Proposal for Urban Environment and Sustainability Reference Centre - Catalyst of development for São Paulo, BrazilThis work is driven to improve the São Paulo’s urban environment. The design proposal consists in the Urban Environment and Sustainability Reference Centre, offering a vast programme of activities including technological research and support for building and urban planning. The design exercise includes the plan of site revitalization – the urban park Parque D. Pedro II, which is found under serious stage of degradation. The proposal brings architectural and urban design solutions of low environmental and social impact, in order to explore 'clean' technology searching for new architectural paradigms.
