In the slopes of the estern hills of Bogota, in the historic center of the city , is located Los Andes University , and nearby to the student housing. A project integrated with the landscape is the setting of elements as the light, the degrees of transparency, the fluidness, the transformation .This is the premise to design interior spaces , common spaces with multiples posibilities for the student's life. With a strong slope ,the student housing is solved in four zones : In the first one;the administration, the common serves and the main access. In the second :the dwelling , two buildings separated by a courtryad and terraces than make up the encounter spaces .In the third zone : a building to share experiences between the community and the university. In the last one : a green area with three small buildings. This setting allows at the small complex to open up the panorama of the city , the hills , monserrate , the candelaria , the university. The target : Generate spaces with better qualities to living inside of an educational environment. Now, Bogota is living strong changes ; urban renewal , a new transportation system , constructions as librarys , schools , public spaces , bike-routes ; in order of these ideas the university must be a start point to learn new ways of living. With a contemporary image the project is a proposal to live some meters nearby to LOS ANDES university.
