The Lodge is conceived as a frontier formed by a contemplation bar. Placed between two hills, the lodge becomes a bridge between them. To reinforce this 'bridge concept', the project rises from the ground through piles, like the typical constructions from ChiloƩ: the 'palafitos'. It enhances the natural, and makes of two common hills a point of reference on the landscape. Its presence reveals the place.
